Spot silver and U.S. silver futures prices fell more than 2 pct on Monday
Spot silver and U.S. silver futures prices fell more than 2 pct on Monday, pressured by a rapid rally in the dollar after Japan intervened in the foreign exchange market.
Spot silver dropped to as low as $34.49 and traded at $34.66 by 0240 GMT. The most-active U.S. silver futures contract SIcv1 fell to $34.52 earlier and regained some lost ground to trade at $34.68. – Reuters
