Silver shot up by 0.29 per cent to Rs 53,583 per kg in futures trade today
Silver shot up by 0.29 per cent to Rs 53,583 per kg in futures trade today following a firming trend in global markets and rising domestic demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, silver for delivery in March rose by Rs 155, or 0.29 per cent, to Rs 53,583 per kg, with a business volume of 4,536 lots.
Likewise, the metal for delivery in May moved up by Rs 130, or 0.24 per cent, to Rs 54,705 per kg, with a trade turnover of 128 lots.
Silver climbed for the fourth day, rising as much as 0.3 per cent to USD 30.62 an ounce, the highest level in a week, in the global markets. – PTI
